It's been a wild ride for DePay in 2022. Not only did we continue to pioneer within the Web3 payments space, but we've also seen significant growth and adoption of our payment solutions.
In the midst of a volatile market, DePay has remained a go-to solution for those looking to integrate seamless payments using Web3 technologies. We've seen strong demand for our services, and are excited to continue pushing the boundaries of what's possible with Web3 Payments in the coming year.
Let's take a look back at some of the highlights from the past year at DePay and also get a sneak peek at what the future holds for us.
Corntown Merch Drop - powered by DePay for Shopify
Corntown, an NFT community, decided to reward its members during Christmas time by distributing its merchandise through Shopify. This move allowed the community to purchase the products using the communities’ KRUN token, which was enabled as a payment option through DePay's Shopify gateway.
The use of the KRUN token as a means of payment is a significant step for the community, as it allows them to use their own digital currency to make purchases.

WooCommerce Launch & Partnership
DePay was selected by Automattic, the company behind WooCommerce, as a launch partner for their new "Crypto Payments" plugin category. Alongside heavyweights such as Coinbase and OpenNode, DePay was one of only four launch partners chosen for this collaboration.

DePay Documentation v2
With the launch of our Documentation v2, which provides comprehensive guidance on how to integrate DePay, we help people to onboard onto an integration faster. The new documentation contains clear examples and instructions for how to integrate DePay.
Documentation v2 explains the variety of integration options to choose from. No matter what your needs or preferences may be, you can find the right way to integrate DePay.
Launch of DePay Apps
DePay is proud to announce the launch of DePay Apps, a new feature that allows third-party apps to access data and perform actions on users' behalf.
With DePay Apps, users can easily authenticate and grant access to trusted apps, allowing them to access their DePay account.
We are excited to see what developers will create with DePay Apps and look forward to seeing how it will be used. DePay Apps is available now and we encourage developers to get started and take advantage of all it offers.
DePay “by example”
We are thrilled to report that we have acquired a number of key customers this year. These customers are at the forefront of building Web3 with us, and we are proud to have the opportunity to serve them with our innovative payment solutions.
We started to publish selected integrations on our website, inviting people to learn more about these integrations and see the impact DePay has had on their businesses.
RNS.id, a Web3 Identity provider, integrated DePay Widgets and DePay's Payment Validation API to self-host Web3 Payments, directly within their checkout flow. Learn more about the RNS.id integration here
Dappnode, the leading provider of stake-at-home nodes uses the DePay Shopify Plugin to receive payments peer-to-peer, directly into their Gnosis Safe multi-signature wallet.

Outlook for 2023
As part of our commitment to being a multichain payment solution, DePay is excited to launch support for the Solana blockchain in 2023. Additionally, we will also be expanding to include other EVM blockchains besides Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, and Polygon.
We are also excited that we will be releasing Payment Requests and Invoices for Web3 Payments in 2023. This new feature will allow users to quickly request and issue payments using our platform, making it even easier to conduct business using Web3 technologies.
In 2023 it remains our key goal to make it easy for businesses of all types to embrace and benefit from Web3 technologies. With this in mind, we are excited to launch Web3 Subscriptions in the coming year allowing companies to fully embrace Web3 by offering subscription-based payment options to their customers.
